Freebirds World Burrito
Freebirds World Burrito is a fast-casual restaurant loved by many for their creamy queso, stuffed burritos, and funky style! As a part of their Marketing Team, I was responsible for brainstorming campaign ideas and fully developing the final campaign. All while supporting recurring communications for all other departments.
2020 Q1 Point-of-Purchase
It was important to honor Freebirds’ grungey style and unique customer base when creating the point-of-purchase materials for 2020. App downloads and usage were the priority for this campaign, so what's more encouraging than a “Free Chips & Dip” promotion with their most popular dip as the star!
The initial concept was inspired by the graffiti-covered walls of a local hole-in-a-wall restaurant. Wanting to appeal to Freebirds' loyal fans and entice them to explore the app, I pitched the idea of “Scan me for a good time” and a QR code to link them to the app’s download page.
After pulling out all the stops on the initial concept, I decided to “smooth” out the rough visual edges and simplify the design for all types of customers rather than just the regulars.
